Expressions Social Group
A Social Skills Group for children who have difficulty understanding social cues and developing friendships. This group is designed to focus on social skills within a fun, interactive environment. Through a mixture of play, art time, and structured lessons, each session will reinforce positive behaviors to increase functional social skills that your child can use in everyday social settings.

Jill R. Alford, MBA
Jill is a Special Education teacher, Georgia Certified and Highly Qualified and is currently seeking a Master of Science in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University. Jill has designed and implemented classroom intervention and skill acquisition programs for elementary children of varying abilities. She has designed and implemented classroom intervention and skill acquisition programs for elementary children of varying abilities. Currently, Jill enjoys tutoring students in reading and mathematics to unlock their academic potential. Additionally, Jill has a MBA from Brenau University, 1989, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Georgia Southern University, 1980. Earlier in life, she worked as a Quality Engineer at Lockheed-Martin for 15 years before making a career change to teaching. It is interesting to note, that Jill wanted to be a special education teacher as a child and education was her first major at school. She has now come full circle to teach and perform the work with children that she loves.
